Kora, Mbira and Singing Weekend July 2020

N.B. Prices are provisional as at 8th November, but  will be confirmed soon.

A wonderful small music event in Herefordshire – camping, glamping or B&B in a beautiful rural venue –  Cwm Maddoc Barns, Broad Oak, Herefordshire.  There will be kora gig on the Saturday night at a nearby venue, the funds raised will go to The Kora Trust – a registered UK charity that supports projects in Kafountine, Senegal.

All tuition, instrument loan and meals included.   Kora with Adam and Jali Bakary Konte, Mbira with Andy Fowler and Singing with the lovely Jess Ryan-Philips and Neil Pigott. No experience needed.

Places limited to 15 course participants, partners/friends welcome paying only for accommodation as below, plus their food (£80).

All workshops and all meals – vegetarian  £180  Catering is from Friday 4pm with tea and cake, through to the same at 4pm Sunday (home made and delicious!)

Accommodation options as shown below.  Hot showers, camp fire and sauna.
Camping with own tent – £12 per night
Yurt – £50 per single person per night or £60 for 2 people
Cabin – £40 per single person per night or £50 for 2 people
Room in one of the barn conversion homes – £50 per single person per night or £60 for 2 people
