The Hatch in Worcestershire on 17th - 18th September Contact Kath for a booking form. £90 for one day £150 for both, includes loan of a kora, all tuition, singing workshop option and lunch.  Non-kora playing partners and families very welcome - a beautiful place to stay. Accommodation is extra, ranging from camping to luxury ensuite. Call Ben or Nada on 01584 881207.

 

These workshops are suitable for absolute beginners to experienced players and we will have several extra teachers including Josh Doughty and Kane Mathis. For the more advanced players we will look at tunings, technique, improvisation and much more.

West African Singing Learn the songs that accompany the traditional Mandinka tunes.

 

We  are delighted that Jessica Doughty will be able to join us and run singing workshops in September at The Hatch, included as part of the kora course, but also available as stand-alone sessions.
